Do You Have a Hot Dog?

Does your dog have tons of energy or just like to socialize? Then free range daycare is right for you! Drop your dog off for daycare and they will play with other pooches, toys, and our loving staff only to go home happy and tired. Hot Diggity Dog is staffed with trained dog lovers that are certified to care for your pup through The Dog Gurus and certified in Pet First Aid. Hot Diggity Dog will stimulate your dog both mentally and physically so they go home “healthy tired” and not exhausted from heat or stress like other daycare centers.

Free Range Daycare Requirements

All dogs attending daycare must pass a behavioral evaluation to make sure the free range environment is a good fit for them. Our behavioral evaluations last 2 hours so we can accurately assess how your pup will act when mom or dad aren’t around.

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies every 1 to 3 years

  • DHPP every 1 to 3 years

  • Bordatella every 6 to 12 months

All dogs attending daycare must also be spayed or neutered if they are older than 8 months for normal size dogs and 12 months for giant breeds. If dogs are not altered, they cannot attend daycare but can board in our private suites.

Dogs participating in daycare and also boarding will spend the night in a private suite and have multiple potty breaks throughout the night as well as one on one time with our overnight staff member. Lights out is 11pm, but you can call anytime of the night since we are staffed 24 hours. We also offer extended hours for late pickup or early dropoff!

Large Dog Boarding: Dogs will spend the night in on of our 3x5 private suites or 4x5 deluxe suites for multiple dog families or large breeds. Small and Medium Dog Boarding: Dogs will spend the night in one of our double decker private suites.

Private Boarding

Private boarding is great for dogs that are not the friendliest with other dogs or are older than 8 months and not spayed or neutered. All dogs in private boarding must be comfortable around our staff, as they will have exclusive interaction with them. Dogs will spend the day in one of our 4x6 suites or 5x7 deluxe suites for multiple dogs or larger breeds. Dogs will enjoy supervised outdoor time with a staff member every few hours. Dogs participating in private boarding do not have to be spayed or neutered since they are not around other dogs.

Dogs in private boarding are required to be current on the following vaccinations:

Rabies every 1 to 3 years
DHPP every 1-3 years
Bordatella every 6-12 months as required by vet

Boarding FAQ

1. How old must my dog be in order to attend daycare?

Dogs must have received the rabies vaccination in order to attend daycare, usually given around 3 months.

2. My vet recommends the Bordatella vaccination every year, not every 6 months, what do I do?

Dogs frequenting any type of open play environment with other dogs should get the vaccination every 6 months. The Bordatella vaccine only covers certain strains of the virus, so if your dog isn’t vaccinated for a particular strain, they are susceptible to contracting the virus.

3. I'm not sure how my dog will do, what is the evaluation process?

Once you arrive, you will be greeted by our daycare attendants. They will introduce themselves to you and your dog and watch how your dog responds. We will ask you a few questions about your dog’s history with other dogs and then they will say goodbye to mom and dad so they can go meet new furiends. We introduce new friends based on your dogs specific personality, watching body language to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

Hot Diggity Dog is also proud to offer Private Daycare, for the dogs that can’t be in regular daycare. These pups won’t have any other playtime with other dogs, but will enjoy countless hours of loving from all the staff.
Dogs may be dropped off all day!
Extended hours are available by appointment and allow you to drop off your dog as early as you want and pick up late!
